Both the front desk and housekeeping staff at this hotel were extremely helpful and courteous. The room was very clean, bed and pillows comfortable. The only thing that would have made the stay a little better would have been to have had a microwave in the room, but overall I would recommend this hotel without hesitation and would stay there again.
Will definitely stay again. The room was amazing. We had a suite with an attached guest room. We felt like it was our own apartment. The bathrooms were clean and up to date with plenty of towels, etc. The staff was very considerate and helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much.
I wasn't super happy with this hotel. Yes, they had clean rooms, lots of electrical outlets, and covered parking. Unfortunately, I received no recognition for being a Spire member and had housekeeping knocking on my door starting at 8:00am, even with the DND sign up. Ugh!
Staff was very friendly and accommodating. They went out of their way to make sure I was having a nice time. They all had smiles on their faces which made us feel welcomed.
Excellent service - appreciated the shuttle service. Friendly staff and clean hotel
From check-in to check-out there was nothing but problems. My wife has a terminal illness and we were trying to enjoy a couple of stress free nights for her to relax and be pampered. It was one stressful experience after another. I would definitely not suggest staying at this hotel for anything other than business where you plan to interact with the staff minimally!
Secure floor access, comfortable room (good bed, linens, etc.) and two parking garages. The garage below the building requires some careful maneuvering. Overall quite functional, comfortable and fit for purpose!
I brought my students here for an out-of-town trip for a competition in Denver. Normally we stay at other hotels that are a little bit cheaper. I don't think we will do that again after this stay. The hotel was clean, the staff were amazing, and the rooms were excellent for our one night stay. On top of all of that, the price was not outrageous. The biggest problem I had was with booking because of tax-exempt policies since it was done through the school district. The staff were kind, understanding, and patient. They were able to solve this issue quickly and make sure my rooms were reserved. We will definitely be staying here again if we come to Denver for another tournament.
When I first checked in I was greeted by a friendly person (Justin) and from there on my stay was adequate. The hotel was clean, the rooms were nice...The only downside (if any) was our dinner Friday evening...the steaks we ordered were fatty, however we did not say anything to the waiter.
My only problem: Hungry, super hungry at 3:00am, there wasn't anywhere close to find food. That's not really the hotel's problem though, so I'd still give a 9.0 rating
We traveled to Colorado for the first time and the staff were very helpful in navigating the area, with complimentary shuttle service and recommendations of sites. The hotel had nice decor, a comfortable and clean room, free business center, and delicious bar/lounge.
Close to the office, and nice room, updated fairly recently.
Most everything was great except the mattress (somewhat saggy, if that is a way to describe it) and almost no sound barrier between the room and the hallway. I could hear the conversations and elevator very well.
I was in Denver for a conference. All the hotels downtown were way too expensive. This Holiday Inn was affordable and close to the bus for a quick trip downtown (except one night when the bus was very late). There are also some good restaurants and a bar "World of Beer" a couple blocks away. Right next to the Cherry Creek trail for a good run. The staff was great, very friendly and helpful. The pool was not clean, but the rest of the hotel and more importantly the room were.
Upon arrival at the hotel, I was greeted by the super friendly front desk clerk who helped me every step of the way. When we finally got thru that, we found our room and was impressed by the cleanliness. We also found the room to be very quiet of people outside in the hallway. The beds were very comfortable, the pillows nice and fluffy and the pool was a blast. Cold to begin with but once your body acclimates to the temperature, its nice. We were very pleased with our stay at this hotel and would gladly do it again!!
The parking garage is very difficult and small stalls
While the staff was very friendly and hardworking with minor exception the guest room was below average. Seemed as if a bed was missing as there was an large open space between the one bed and the opposite wall. Bathroom wallpaper looked like there had been a paintball fight which someone tried to clean up when replacement was clearly necessary. Shuttle service was unavailable mid-day on a week day for in excess of an hour. From the looks of the area there are other alternatives to this location, I'd check them out. Staff needs to ensure the facilities are updated.
Nice check in process with friendly front desk agent. She was helpful and kind. My guest room was clean but my tub was dirty and did not drain properly. HVAC noisy
-Endroit calme pour le repot. -Bon service des chambres. -Un personnel courtois. -Piscine et sale de sport agréables. -Bonne connection internet. -Système de sécurité moderne.
The rooms were nicer than we thought they would be. Clean room, clean bathroom. The business area was really nice, but the Eggcetera place was just ok as far as the buffet. The bar was fine, nothing outstanding.
Overall the hotel was easy to find, rooms were clean, staff was courteous and helpful. Internet stayed connected while working which is nice to have. On the street side you'll hear the street noise if emergency crews go by but that seemed to be the only time.
They made a financial emergency less stressful for me when I flew into Denver! and were more than accommodating and gracious for my business. I have stayed in Denver twice now for academic reasons and love this Hotel. The staff is respectful, friendly, and flexible! The beds cozy, soft, and clean! and the rooms too are always tidy, odor free, and modern. Thank you for making this Guest's continued experience a wonderful time!
I'll be back. I stay here often. Lot's of places to eat and shop close by.
Four star hotel in a smaller package. All the bedroom comforts of a fancy hotel except in a smaller room.
My wife and I stayed here based upon location near the Cherry Creek shopping area and ease of access to the major highways in/out of Denver. We had a very nice stay and would definitely recommend this property if you are looking for a reasonable rate and clean hotel for a weekend or longer stay.
Everything was up to par with all other Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express hotels where I have previously stayed. Excellent!
This was my first visit to the Holiday Inn Denver-Cherry Creek. I was there for a business meeting which was held at the hotel. Absolutely everything about my stay was perfect. The hotel is very cute - I love the lobby floor and the way the bar opens to the lobby. Front Desk and all staff were amazing. So friendly and accommodating. My room was comfortable and extremely clean. Also of not the temperature was very easy to adjust and there was no obnoxious fan noise as in some hotels. The hotel is in an excellent location within walking distance to many restaurants and shopping. Definitely stay at this hotel when in Denver.
I was at the hotel for a two day business meeting. The bed linens were awesome and the food was fantastic. The Chefs Lobster Ravioli was fantastic.
The hotel was very nice and comfortable. The only issue I had was a pretty bad smell in the fridge, and on might first night there, woke up to a strange squeaking sound which ended up being the fridge motor. The remaining nights I was there, I unplugged the fridge before going to sleep. Otherwise the hotel was very nice.
Outstanding stay, everything was wonderful and when in the Denver area we will certainly stay with you again!!!!! Thanks for taking great care of us...
This hotel was mediocre. I was sadly disappointed in the check in process. I was also disappointed with the lack of courtesy and failure to mention the IHG points and rewards process. I also mentioned several times in my booking and in calling the hotel, stating we were celebrating a birthday. Nothing was done or said relating to this event. Also, they put us in a room with a view of a car wash parking lot when I asked for a high level room with a view. Wish I would not have used over 30k points on this stay. :( Bed was nice though!
Very helpful staff when setting up block of rooms for a wedding. Very friendly front desk staff on the various days at hotel. Very nice areas in lobby, patio outside pool, and pool area were nice places to gather. Rooms furnished nicely and timely when asked for more towels. Sunday morning brunch in the Cherry Creek room was set up early and nicely laid out.
Room was very up to date but the bathroom was terrible. Paint peeling off ceiling, light out, shower head loose, The room was clean and comfortable. The front desk staff always in a hurry. Could pay a little more attention to the customer instead of the process. Hotel is clean and I would stay again.
-Checked in at about midnight. The front desk person was having a conversation with another hotel employee. Did not acknowledge our presence for about 5 minutes until the other employee left. She was friendly but we were surprised she did not interrupt her conversation to check us in or even tell us she would be with us in a moment. -entrance and Lobby was kind of "cold" and not welcoming. We thought we were entering a side entrance until we were inside and realized it was the front entrance. Owners did not put much effort into the decor including the lobby bar. -there for 2 nights; left our room at about 9 a.m. on the 1st morning, arrived back at 5:00. The room had not been cleaned. Called the front desk and they apologized. We simply asked for towels as we were tired and wanted to rest. -location is good in that it is on edge of Cherry Creek neighborhood; easy to walk along trail to stores, restaurants, etc.
Have been coming to visit family for the past few years. First time I stayed in this hotel and I will definitely be back. I love the area, it is located right by the Cherry Creek Trail - which I recommend a great way to walk some of Denver. the hotel is friendly, clean, and everyone there are exceptionally nice. It is quiet and no problem with sleep.
To start with, I had to make this reservation on the road for the very night my family and I staid. As a Spire Elite member, I was expecting a little different welcome. I was met at the desk by a friendly staffer, but when she acknowledged my stay was a reward night stay, her whole demeanor changed. I asked about my 500 bonus points for being a spire elite emeber and she replied it wasn't the properties policy to grant bonus points on a reward night. That's strange because I get them from ward night stays. In anything, I was the. Directed to park on the edge of the drive way near the street because I had a trailer. The parking here is completely inadequate. I parked inside the employee parking area anyway. I was not going to park on the street. The food was average, but the restaurant is very small and I didn't feel comfortable bringin my two small children down to set down to et. So we ordered room service. It was okay, but kind of inconvenient. I would not recommend this property if you are driving and need parking. Also, it seems more like an airport property then a family oriented property. I felt like I was unwelcome there.
I had an excellent experience staying at the Holiday Inn Cherry Creek Denver
GOOD. GOOD.. GOOD.. GOOD.. GOOD.. GOOD.. GOOOD.. HOW MUCH MORE DO YPOU WHAT.. WE STAYED.. WE LIKED.. ARE WE DONE..
Room was not up to the standards that I expected from Holiday Inn. It was a very basic, Cheap motel type room, except way over priced. No free breakfast, not even a Continental one. It's the only Motel/Hotel that I've stayed in that didn't have a free breakfast.
I had some billing issues, the the hotel management staff and Claudia in accounting were super effective in correcting everything. Super happy, the hotel is super nice, rooms are clean, comfy, nice bar area.
I really liked this hotel. It was in a great location and we were able to walk to most things that we needed. I wish I had stayed longer and was able to use the pool and fitness center. The view from our room was great. I think that the website should be more clear about the fact that the shuttle is only offered on weekdays. All things considered, it was a successful stay. I would stay again.
The room was clean and newly updated, and had everything we needed
Its a nice hotel, but a little difficult to get into Downtown Denver. There are nice restaurants in Cherry Creek. Bed was a little too soft for my liking. Overall, it's a decent hotel, and the staff are excellent
Good value hotel. Nearby good areas for shopping and eating.
We always enjoy our stay at Denver-Cherry Creek. The staff are always helpful and friendly. The rooms are very nice and updated. There are several shops and restaurants withing walking distance. There's the wonderful Cherry Creek cycling/walking trail just across the street!
Just a walk up the Cherry Creek Trail from everything you need, and right across the street from target. There is some noise from traffic, but the friendly staff and clean rooms made up for it.
NIce hotel, good location, very accommodating. We needed to check in early so we could get to Coors field in time for batting practice. The desk clerk called us as soon as our room was ready--before regular check in at 3 pm.
We really liked the location, staff, convenience, room, and amenities. We would love to return and bring our bikes. There is a 5 mile bike trail across the street from the hotel that we would love to ride. Pool and exercise facilities were excellent. Bed was comfortable, staff were most accommodating, and breakfast had all the healthy options we choose at home. (Okay, fine! I did have bacon and sausage a couple days, but if you don't tell my PCP, I won't.)
Would not consider this hotel for future stay. The parking is the worst of any I have ever seen. Would reconsider if this issue was eliminated.
Lovely property, nice staff, lots of parking, nice updated comfortable quiet rooms. Only downside a totally broken shower-head on first morning, mostly fixed thereafter.
