Friendly staff, clean hotel, good location in cherry creek. Jasmine and Robert do a great job in the bar as are Kathy and Danny in the restaurant in the mornings. Only thing I would change is there are not many good bar options I the menu
The A/C was completely down for the most of the week I was there. I spoke to customer service, to let them know the a/c was not working. I was told, the a/c was completely down, and there was a new a/c to replace the old one. I room was into the 83 degrees, that's hot for me. I could not sleep.
I think that the pricing was high for week-day stays. I will be staying in the Denver area every Tuesday
Thermostat was not working, rude front desk personnel, loud hallways at 2 am
Room, staff and service were all excellent. I should have given more notice for when I needed the shuttle, but all were gracious and got me to where I needed to go with time to spare. I would recommend this Holiday Inn to anyone needing to stay in the Denver area.
We had a great time at this property. Hotel was clean, food was great. The only downfall was the extremely cold pool ( my very resilient kids could only last 10 minutes and came out with blue lips). Also there is no hot tub.
Excellent stay. Conveniently located. Modern appointments, comfortable bed and pillows. Internet provided. Very much how I would expect to be treated at home.
Very friendly behind the counter staff. They had a good sense of humor and were ready to help. Rooms were clean and quiet - even a small refrigerator.
I was in 3 different conference rooms during my conference, two of the rooms were fine, 1 was not so good. Poor temperature control and when the heat came on it was difficult to hear the speaker. Good food for the conference. Hotel buffet breakfast was okay. Front desk staff was very friendly. Room was very comfortable. I asked for an extra blanket and it was delivered in a timely manner.
We stayed here during a conference for a disability advocacy group. So we expected the accessible rooms to be filled up quickly. My requires a roll-in shower preferably. So we made sure to talk to the reservation manager about it and we were assured of the room. Well, when we checked in we found out that the roll-in shower room was not available. Later we even came to find out that the room was assigned to another individual with a disability who did not even require a roll-in shower room, nor used the roll-in shower. So this was a disappointment to us. At least if the room was assigned to someone in need we could have accepted the fact that our reservation was bumped. Also, the toilet was too low and we asked for a raised toilet seat which they did not have. Except for these two personal experiences, the hotel is pretty good. So my reviews are based on the experience an average guest could expect. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and even a Target right across the street. So if you are in the need to do some shopping or even pharmacy you are covered which is good.
Everything was great for us. The pool area was too cold for us to use and the water dripping from the ceiling, but I bet it would great in the warmer months.
Nice hotel in the downtown Denver area. Rooms are large, clean and comfortable. Covered parking with easy access to the hotel lobby. Friendly staff.
Nice room, but could not get room below 70 degrees for sleeping. Great number of usable outlets for tech items.
Friendly, courteous, efficient, professional staff in all areas. Food was good, room was clean, quiet and comfortable. I liked having a mini fridge, I would only add a microwave to make it better. The shuttle service was a big plus. Road conditions were poor, but drivers were very competent. I will return!
A great stay for business or leisure activities if you're going to be in this part of Denver.
The reception personnel were friendly and helpful. When we needed to stay an extra night due to weather conditions they were helpful and accommodating. The rooms are clean and modern, the beds provide a wonderful night's sleep. The restaurant was pleasant with good service and food. The location is great for getting around the Denver area.
GREAT BED AND ROOM GREAT FOOD AND SERVICE THANKS FOR THE TIMELY SHUTTLE SERVICE FOR MY WIFE AND HER MEDICAL NEEDS STAFF WAS VERY HELPFUL IN SHUTTLE USE
I had a very nice stay! The bed and pillows were very comfortable. I slept like I was at home. The staff was quite friendly and pool was vey nice.
I was pleased with the condition of the hotel and the lobby. the restaurant was a big plus. I havent stayed at a Holiday Inn in many years and the local hotels were full. The price was reasonable. The room was great and very comfortable. The location was conveinent to Cherry Creek North but I didnt expect this hotel to be as nice as it was. I have paid a lot more for the same quality hotel under a different brand many times.
Everything was good!! Parking was tricky but ok!!i The sink was small and not room to put stuff.
We enjoyed this hotel so much I doubt we will look at any of the others in the area in the future. I expect to be visiting the area more often as our grandson is a student at a near by university. The make over is incredible.
Awesome staff and a great home away from home! Each time I travel to Denver, Cherry Creek is the only place that I would consider staying. I would like to thank the staff for making my stay the best experience.
Having written a comment based on my last stay that detailed issues with the Wi-Fi, I felt compelled to post again. My last comment dealt with issues I had during "peak" hours with the internet connection and not being able to work. Following my posting, I saw that the hotel commented that they were working on enhancing their WI-Fi. When I checked in on this stay, I asked that they place me wherever the signal would be strongest. The front desk personnel indicated the "West Towers" had the best signal strength so they gave me a room there. I was extremely pleased with my connection speeds and had no difficulties with the Wi-Fi whatsoever! I would now recommend to the "business traveler".
Rooms are very comfortable and quiet. The pool area is less than desired. No hot tub. The makeshift ceiling dripped ice cold water in several spots. Seems like it used to be an outdoor pool and they put up a greenhouse type roof over it. Pool area was actually cold! Water warmer than the air in some spots. Heaters on ceiling some help but only if you were right below them. Needless to say I was looking forward to a nice hot tub but was very surprised there wasn't one. Shouldn't all hotels have a hot tub??? This is what most adults like to relax in.
I wish the hotel had a hot tub. Rooms were clean. Comfortable beds. Good food.
Very comfortable, friendly and extremely helpful staff. Shopping nearby, great food.
If you are planning to work, this location is not for you. Their internet connectivity is sorely lacking, with little or nothing the staff can do to help. While the hotel itself and staff are pleasant and kind, there is now way to work if you require an internet connection. Too bad, good location, and convenient to many restaurants and shopping, but you have to seek another alternative to work.
Very good experience. Comfortable room and a 10 foot deep pool! Staff are excellent and make you feel at home. Highly recommend this hotel.
Stayed here for a quick business trip. The hotel was clean and comfortable and I would stay here again.
We stayed one night at the beginning of our trip to Colorado and then stayed again the last night of our trip because of the great service and clean rooms!
The best part is I was allowed to check in early on the day I arrived. I had been up since 3:30am.
I loved taking a bath after the long flight. The staff was very efficient and friendly. 3/4 shuttle rides were right on and the driver knew where to go. 1/4 rides, the driver did not know the obscure directions to an address on the UC Denver campus.
Wonderful place to stay for several days. We can recommend it to anyone visiting or doing business in Denver.
This is a great place to stay. The staff is courteous and friendly, and go out of their way to make the customer feel welcome and at home. The staff is very accomodating, the rooms are comfortable and have great amenities. The facility is conveniently located to restaurants, shopping, and fitness centers.
The staff was great. The room was comfortable. The menu needs to be updated.
Not much to tell. On a visit to see our son. Nice place with the exception of a minor hiccup.
Everything was wonderful and everyone was so helpful and nice. The staff made the stay very enjoyable!
The internet service is very spotty. My android phone would keep stating to try again after entering the weekly password. Finally after mega tries it would connect only to find it unconnected the next am. Also, dropped connection often on both laptop and Ipad but those usually reconnected the next am without much issue.
The hotel is in a good location- near downtown Denver and the interstates. It's a little tricky getting to the parking because Colorado Blvd is divided in front of the hotel. The beds are very nice and let me settle in for a good nights sleep on the first night. The room service staff is very efficient and friendly.
Very comfortable bed and I was able to relax for the first time on a business trip.
We stayed at the Cherry Creek property because it is a very nice, clean place to stay.....this is our favorite place because of its locale ...we had a junior suite this time and it was decorated nicely..the morning breakfast was a buffet and the freshly made omelets were very good....there was also a good selection of other fruits, cereals, baked goods and meats to choose from....the only problem in the restaurant is there is too few tables on Saturday morning....guess with the Denver Stock Show in town, the hotel is pretty much at capacity...otherwise, no problems..
This was an ideal location for all I had to do in Denver. I went to a basketball game ate at Elway's steak house and went to the Zoo. All locations were less than 10 min away 20 with traffic. I Shopped at the Cherry Creek Mall and picked up forgotten supplies across the street. The location was perfect for my purposes.
It was a great stay in Denver. Jay in the restaurant was great serving my family late in the evening on Jan 17, 2015. And Kathy was also great in serving breakfast in the morning of Jan 18, 2015. Both my wife and I thought that $12.95 was a very high price for breakfast when most Hotels offer free breakfast when you stay the night. It is just a suggestion to offer a free breakfast.
Before even making the reservations, the hotel staff was very knowledgeable and able to answer our questions . We were in Denver for medical testing, and during our 3 night stay, made use of the hotel's shuttle service. The drivers were kind, courteous and on time. The front desk staff went out of their way to meet our needs. Every staff member we came in contact with was extremely friendly and helpful. We were without a vehicle, so having a Super Target across the street within walking distance was very helpful. I would certainly recommend the Holiday Inn Denver-Cherry Creek as a great place to stay!
we had a great time in this hotel, although our stay was not too long (only one night). The staff was attentive and even the manager interacted with us on a positive side.
Didn't have the best first night, neighbors were having a party took a couple calls to the front desk before they even quieted them down. Then was woke up every 20 minutes till 3 in the AM. Next few nights after that I was woke up to other patrons going in and out of their rooms. You can hear everything that happens in the hall as if they are in your room. I have stayed at many Holiday Inn around the country and I would say this was the noisiest one. Not recommend if you like quiet nights in my opinion.
Convenient location... Quiet room and great staff!
At the last minute, we needed to add another room to our reservation. The front desk staff and in particular, Skye, was awesome. Skye held our bill until I could arrive with the correct credit card and made sure the rate was exactly as we'd been quoted with our group reservation. Thanks for making my day Skye.
SUPER SICK IN BED FOR THE ENTIRE STAYING. ASKED FOR A "BOTTLE OF WATER" AT THE FRONT DESK BECAUSE THE BAR WAS CLOSED AND VENDING MACHINES SOLD OUT. MY REQUEST WAS DENIED... "A BOTTLE OF WATER" !!!!! SPENT THE REST OF DAY AND NIGHT IN BED DEHYDRATED WITH NO WATER TO DRINK. THIS IS HOW PLATINUM ELITE MEMBERS ARE TREATED.
The Suite at The Holiday Inn was close to perfect. The lay out was very nice and the size was good. The bed was very comfortable and the desk and internet were excellent. The carpet looked like it had not been cleaned in a while, but that seemed to be the only negative in a very pleasant stay. I would highly recommend this hotel for its amenities and its location.
