Very helpful staff when setting up block of rooms for a wedding. Very friendly front desk staff on the various days at hotel. Very nice areas in lobby, patio outside pool, and pool area were nice places to gather. Rooms furnished nicely and timely when asked for more towels. Sunday morning brunch in the Cherry Creek room was set up early and nicely laid out.
Room was very up to date but the bathroom was terrible. Paint peeling off ceiling, light out, shower head loose, The room was clean and comfortable. The front desk staff always in a hurry. Could pay a little more attention to the customer instead of the process. Hotel is clean and I would stay again.
-Checked in at about midnight. The front desk person was having a conversation with another hotel employee. Did not acknowledge our presence for about 5 minutes until the other employee left. She was friendly but we were surprised she did not interrupt her conversation to check us in or even tell us she would be with us in a moment. -entrance and Lobby was kind of "cold" and not welcoming. We thought we were entering a side entrance until we were inside and realized it was the front entrance. Owners did not put much effort into the decor including the lobby bar. -there for 2 nights; left our room at about 9 a.m. on the 1st morning, arrived back at 5:00. The room had not been cleaned. Called the front desk and they apologized. We simply asked for towels as we were tired and wanted to rest. -location is good in that it is on edge of Cherry Creek neighborhood; easy to walk along trail to stores, restaurants, etc.
Have been coming to visit family for the past few years. First time I stayed in this hotel and I will definitely be back. I love the area, it is located right by the Cherry Creek Trail - which I recommend a great way to walk some of Denver. the hotel is friendly, clean, and everyone there are exceptionally nice. It is quiet and no problem with sleep.
To start with, I had to make this reservation on the road for the very night my family and I staid. As a Spire Elite member, I was expecting a little different welcome. I was met at the desk by a friendly staffer, but when she acknowledged my stay was a reward night stay, her whole demeanor changed. I asked about my 500 bonus points for being a spire elite emeber and she replied it wasn't the properties policy to grant bonus points on a reward night. That's strange because I get them from ward night stays. In anything, I was the. Directed to park on the edge of the drive way near the street because I had a trailer. The parking here is completely inadequate. I parked inside the employee parking area anyway. I was not going to park on the street. The food was average, but the restaurant is very small and I didn't feel comfortable bringin my two small children down to set down to et. So we ordered room service. It was okay, but kind of inconvenient. I would not recommend this property if you are driving and need parking. Also, it seems more like an airport property then a family oriented property. I felt like I was unwelcome there.
I had an excellent experience staying at the Holiday Inn Cherry Creek Denver
GOOD. GOOD.. GOOD.. GOOD.. GOOD.. GOOD.. GOOOD.. HOW MUCH MORE DO YPOU WHAT.. WE STAYED.. WE LIKED.. ARE WE DONE..
Room was not up to the standards that I expected from Holiday Inn. It was a very basic, Cheap motel type room, except way over priced. No free breakfast, not even a Continental one. It's the only Motel/Hotel that I've stayed in that didn't have a free breakfast.
I had some billing issues, the the hotel management staff and Claudia in accounting were super effective in correcting everything. Super happy, the hotel is super nice, rooms are clean, comfy, nice bar area.
I really liked this hotel. It was in a great location and we were able to walk to most things that we needed. I wish I had stayed longer and was able to use the pool and fitness center. The view from our room was great. I think that the website should be more clear about the fact that the shuttle is only offered on weekdays. All things considered, it was a successful stay. I would stay again.
The room was clean and newly updated, and had everything we needed
Its a nice hotel, but a little difficult to get into Downtown Denver. There are nice restaurants in Cherry Creek. Bed was a little too soft for my liking. Overall, it's a decent hotel, and the staff are excellent
Good value hotel. Nearby good areas for shopping and eating.
We always enjoy our stay at Denver-Cherry Creek. The staff are always helpful and friendly. The rooms are very nice and updated. There are several shops and restaurants withing walking distance. There's the wonderful Cherry Creek cycling/walking trail just across the street!
Just a walk up the Cherry Creek Trail from everything you need, and right across the street from target. There is some noise from traffic, but the friendly staff and clean rooms made up for it.
NIce hotel, good location, very accommodating. We needed to check in early so we could get to Coors field in time for batting practice. The desk clerk called us as soon as our room was ready--before regular check in at 3 pm.
We really liked the location, staff, convenience, room, and amenities. We would love to return and bring our bikes. There is a 5 mile bike trail across the street from the hotel that we would love to ride. Pool and exercise facilities were excellent. Bed was comfortable, staff were most accommodating, and breakfast had all the healthy options we choose at home. (Okay, fine! I did have bacon and sausage a couple days, but if you don't tell my PCP, I won't.)
Would not consider this hotel for future stay. The parking is the worst of any I have ever seen. Would reconsider if this issue was eliminated.
Lovely property, nice staff, lots of parking, nice updated comfortable quiet rooms. Only downside a totally broken shower-head on first morning, mostly fixed thereafter.
The Pros: The staff always friendly, corteous, professional and always trying to make your stay a little extra special. They achieved that. The high level of customer service is top notch, they knows how to handle everything with a smile even under pressure( phone ringing, customers wanting to check in. Rooms are clean beds are all comfy and clean. I love staying here and recommend as the best in town. The cons: Not really any cons. :) I stay at IHG hotels everywhere and this Hotel stands out. I wish the bar soap are little bigger. But thats the industry standard.
The only issue we had at all at this hotel was it got hot in the room and thermostat would no go below 65 (temp in room was 73). We asked for a fan and they provided one and that solved the issue quite nicely.
This hotel worked well for our extended weekend to explore Denver and convenient to the interview location. We enjoyed walking along the creek in the mornings.
Hotel is very close to local attractions and the value is there for the typical per night cost.
I didn't like the fan in the room -- but the temp control was good
Air-conditioning system is horrible. Water temperature doesn't work properly. Electronic key system problematic.
Guestroom plumbing and heating systems need to be fixed or replaced, otherwise OK
Great location and value. We were surprised it was so nice. Great view from the West building which I suggest you request. Access to nearby restaurants and shopping. I visit Denver often and stay in 5 star hotels most of the time. But this was surprisingly an excellent experience. I would stay there again.
Great location. Nice side of town. Easy to hop on the interstate as well. Solid breakfast choices close by.
The staff was unprofessional, unorganized. Seemed like nobody was in charge. Many guests were voicing their concerns and were ignored. The place smelled old and moldy. Carpets and furniture were dirty. This place gave me the creeps. When the AC was running, it was ice cold. When it shot off, it got really hot. There was no way to set the temperature in the room to a comfortable level. One minute you were freezing, the next you were dying of a heat stroke. It was also extremely noisy. Not to speak of the thin walls. You could overhear conversations in the adjacent rooms.
This property was great very helpful staff rooms were great. I would defiantly stay here again.
We got to Denver late at night and this was the only hotel with rooms. If you don't mind being charged more than any other hotel in the neighborhood, fine. Other than the price, the hotel is pretty comfortable.
My stay was very comfortable and relaxing; would recommend this hotel to my friends
Hotel is close to smaller restaurants and convenient to downtown Denver.
Perfect location for the surrounding events we had planned. Will be back on 8/10/16 for another date night!
Hotel was great, didn't care for the parking garage
stay would have been fine if I was not disturbed at 3
the young man who took us to the hospital was really nice, and the 1st guy was nice too. The young man is studying hotel management and I think you would do great with him at your hotel.
Excellent hotel -- higher end than what I'd expected of a Holiday Inn -- in an excellent location for someone not needing to be in a downtown location. Cherry Creek is a great place and this hotel was very convenient for my stay.
I had to make an unexpected trip to Denver, and, it was (literally) a nightmare to get accommodations - anywhere. As a Spire member, I was anxious to find an IHG hotel - and, was striking out on all accounts. Just about an hour before I had to hop on my flight - I was able to get exceptional help from Steven, who was able to work it out, and, make a reservation for me. I am so grateful, and, appreciated this amazing customer service - so very much. Thank you, sincerely!
it was a great stay and i hope to come back very soon.
This hotel is just a polished Holiday Inn. The front and the lobby are fancy for a Holiday Inn. Everything else is standard Holiday inn.
Very clean, excellent bedding and nice staff. My visit was during the summer so the only thing that could of made it better was a place to relax outside besides the restaurant. But if you are not looking to be outside this Holiday Inn is lovely.
Room was clean and spacious. Staff was friendly and responsive to my needs. Food was excellent at hotel.
We got a great deal through Hotwire. As a result, we got a less-than-great room location. We expected that. The only problem we had was a wedding party bringing the event into the hallway at 1 a.m. We could live with the other ambient noise next to the elevators but the hallway party was a lot to take. Excellent staff and facilities. This is a great hotel!
very good good location good parking st aff very helpfu;fast elevator
I had an excellent 6 night stay here. For the price, I was not sure about staying here. The room was so clean and had everything I needed. I think the room was recently remodeled. The staff was friendly, helpful and handled their job with competence. Internet was excellent. Absolutely no complaints with the hotel. The only thing is: it is on a busy street and to walk to the vast array of stores nearby was a bit noisy even with the parks nearby. However it's a quick drive to all the museums and excitement in the main part of town. I will stay here again.
Plus - The staff at this HI were very friendly and helpful. I've stayed at numerous Holiday Inns and Holiday Inn Expresses all over North America. The Holiday Inn Cherry Creek is comparable and what one would expect. No complaints about the room. Minus - The access from Colorado Boulevard was awkward and parking my Jeep Grand Cherokee rental was very tight. There are a lot of panhandlers in the area and we noticed homeless people sleeping in the doorway of a vacant shop next door which I assume explains why a room key is required to activate the elevator. All in all, it seems a little overpriced given the area and in comparison to other IHG properties.
We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and did not have wifi for 3 of those nights. Hotel staff was not sympathetic and it ended up being a router issue which took 3 days to fix. The nighttime front desk manager was rude. However, the daytime front desk manager was more sympathetic to the inconvenience it had upon me and other hotel guests. The location is convenient to a Super Target and other eating establishments. The guest room was clean and comfortable.
I did not like the layout of the bathroom facilities and the lack of counter space
Comfortable Room and very convenient to Cherry Creek Area. Nice bar and restaurant.
