The hotel was nice but needs more staff in eating areas and bar.
The staff was friendly, the bed comfortable and was in a great location.
What a surprise to find a good value for a top rate room in the high end Cherry Creek district. The staff was wonderful. Although our TV did not work, it was not a big concern. The manager gave us a free 1 night stay the next time we are in Denver for the inconvenience. The breakfast was excellent! Highly recommend!!
They did not charge our company credit card and instead made the guest we had flown in pay for the room on her own credit card. I have been trying to get that charge reversed for 2 weeks now and have only been able to get someone to answer their phone twice. When I faxed and emailed the form to have the charge reversed, they said the reverse was complete. However, the charge is still on the guest's credit card and not our company card.
Overall, we had a good stay. The bed was the best ever we have had with Holiday Inn. It seems like we have trouble with the heat/air conditioning each time we are there. Wish that could be resolved. Our stay is for medical reasons while we visit doctors at Nation Jewish Health. Our "handicapped" shower had a high tub to step in and out of and that was rather scary. A few more safety handles would even help. But we liked everything else. Parking was not difficult to find, but the spaces were so small it was tricky getting in and out with the car even in a handicapped space. We managed and everything is fine. Thank you.
Great mattress cover (I would like one of my own). I had zero back pain my whole stay... woohoo! Great staff.
I enjoyed my room here for the week or so that I had it. It was very comfortable, clean and relaxing.
This hotel was easy to find, close to stores and restaurants. The hotel was clean and the staff was excellent, even though I didn't get greeted as a Platinum member. I stopped by the front desk one evening to see where I could get a new charger for cell phone. The clerk recommended the department store across the street. It might be a good idea to add a small selection of chargers or adapters for cell phones/electronics like most rental car companies have on their counters.
And excellent sleeping experience. A bit of a walk from one end of the hotel to the breakfast room and lobby, but perhaps that is why the room was so quiet. Nicely appointed rooms, in any case, and a good overnight stay.
I stayed for business, my family came along for pleasure. The staff were very attentive and enthusiastic. Pool was pleasant slightly cold. The weight room was great and we enjoyed exercising there. The buffet breakfast was fantastic with great service and really nice variety of food. Only disappointment was that the shuttle did not run on the weekends.
Several family and friends stayed at this hotel arranged by the bride, our now daughter-in-law, for those traveling to Denver for their wedding. The location was perfect to the wedding venue. The staff was super in answering questions and assisting with our requests. The facility was nicely appointed and recently updated. It was a great stay!
Great staff, well thought through amenities/accomodations
Very clean hotel with very friendly staff! Only here for a short visit but will be staying more in the future as it is a great place. I visit Denver once a month and this will now be the main place for me stay. Excellent bar/lounge and comfortable rooms.
Nice rooms - updated nicely. I miss haveing the make up remover. Wish they would bring that back.
hotel was well located, comfortable rooms and competitively priced. Common areas were being worked on which was not appealing. One elevator was out the entire stay, resulted in long rides.
I felt safe and the room was large enough to do work as well
Very impressed with all of the hotel. People were friendly and it was very clean!!
Although still under construction, overall a good stay
I like this hotel but it is showing its age. They are remodeling several areas so that is good. I hope they are updating the rooms as well because in our room - the bathroom tub is showing rust and age around the drain and the bathroom wallpaper had what looked to be years of cleaner buildup. The bed was very comfortable and furnishings are nice. Noise was pretty bad the first night with people running up and down the halls and slamming doors but stopped by 10.
The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were great from checking in, to dining, to getting into the gym in the morning.
In spite of the construction each time I've stayed here recently the hotel has improved. The one negative note was the food, not so great and not a great selection. Perhaps that will change after all of the construction is completed.
I slept great at the hotel. The pillows were amazing. I was not happy that the bar/lounge and the fire pit room were both under construction and not noted on the website. Both rooms are where I would have liked to relax and enjoy my down time. Especially since there was not a hot tub and the water in the swimming pool was cold and not enjoyable. Staff was friendly and area was decent, but I wouldn't recommend it unless all areas of the hotel were functioning.
The staff was great at helping me with issue I had. Calling taxi when needed. Helping me find someone to deliver food while there restaurant was closed.
Good with some exception as listed in the questionaire.
Overall a good Hotel, Front Desk is GREAT!! Pool was ice cold and they do not have a hot tub. This is a deal breaker for me. Front of hotel leaves a bit to be desired. Bar and Restaurant are under construction, they are getting by with what they have but the selection is not great. Half of the menu items on the dinner menu were not available.
The construction is on-going for a year now. Poor parking in the underground lot, freezing pool
Wonderful experience. Everything was great. I like to stay at Holiday Inn, and this trip reinforced that. I recommend staying here when in Denver.
I recently found myself temporaily stranded in Denver, when my outbound flight was canceled and the airport closed due to a terrific blizzard. Lucky me, I was fortunate to find a room at the Cherry Creek Holiday Inn location, and I must say, my experience there was simply wonderful. The Hotel Staff were just terrific, very helpful, accomodating and understanding -- it was a very hectic day+ in Denver for everyone during that storm, and all hands there at the hotel went beyond all expectations. Wonderful. Of particular note, Skye, who was at the Front Desk, was absolutely amazing! Among other things, she nicely arranged a car service ride for me to the airport, on very short notice -- and when taxis and other transport were scarce to non-existent. Her level of professionalism was just outstanding. Kudos!! Many thanks again! 5.0
The staff I encountered during my stay were all very pleasant and helpful. From finding a good restaurant in the area to making change for the vending machines. It was very unfoirtunate that the Martini Bar ( I think) was under construction. I'm not sure if that had to do with the long walk and two elevator rides from the parking structure to the lobby. Not a deal-breaker, but other hotels are a little easier to navigate. Overall, its a nice hotel with a friendly staff. My stay was, if nothing else, pleasant.
I loved the room with its cozy couch and pull up table. It was very cozy and I could get work done. The view was pretty. It was loud at 6am with the family above me, so next time I will ask to be put in a corner somewhere. All in all though, excellent and the reason I always stay here when I'm in Denver!
Great breakfast. Room seemed very clean and was comfortable. Awkward parking situation and the pillows were really terrible, no support whatsoever. There was a lot of construction going on, but only minor inconvenience.
clean, quit, friendly. should not have to text a minimum of 50 characters.
The room was great and had recently been updated, but the common areas of motel were still undergoing extensive remodeling.
Slow and unfriendly at check in. Dirty inside the lobby and outside of hotel. Only one working elevator that was very slow so you had to use the stairs. Hotel old and rundown.
I liked the hotel, they were remodeling but overall was nice. TV Cable was the worst part of the stay. Overall it was nice.
I posted my concerns and issues in the beginning of this survey.
Was not told hotel was being renovated, which a customer of mine had stayed there last fall and it was being renovated. Specifically called to find out if there was an outdoor fireplace/pit and was told there was. When we arrived it was broken. Was told there was a shuttle to take you anywhere within 3 miles, yet driver didn't know where something was less than 1 mile down same road! Was not told shuttle didn't run on Satirday and Sunday, so did not have a ride to church. Called for towels and had to call back an hour later because no one brought them. Had to wait another 15 minutes. The next night called for towels, (fell asleep waiting) woke up called back and asked they bring them by 7 am. The. Next morning LEFT room, saw a housekeeper asked she put 4 towels and washcloths in our room. Came back later that day had 2 towels and 1 washcloth. Bathroom floor was dirty and toilet was not working properly. Had a makeshift bar set up in the restaurant because the real bar was under construction, yet had another area with a relaxed seating atmosphere sitting empty. Restaurant had good food and friendly staff. Front desk staff were mostly friendly and helpful. Was stuck in elevator twice. Would not stay again nor would I recommend this hotel to a friend.
very clean great staff food was a bit pricey room service was great nice place to stay close to lots of food and shopping elevators close to parking nice to look at what ever i needed they got for me
Just ok overall. I stayed at the hotel for business and we had a three day conference at the hotel. The conference room was not ideal.
A clean, inviting, hotel with nice restaurant facilities. In the middle of remodeling and still a great place to stay. Management and staff both accommodating to our personal needs.
We visited the Denver Holiday Inn at Cherry Creek March 2-5 while traveling with Omaha's hockey team. While the facility continues to undergo remodeling, our stay was extremely pleasant. The room was in pristine condition, the elevators fast in response to the button push and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful -- particularly at the bar. Best of all: The ice machine was right next to our door. There are multiple dining choices just across the street, along with a Super Target store. Despite the two losses on the Denver University ice, our stay was more than enjoyable.
Customer service was great but, the hotel is going through a remodel. I will not stay here again until it is finished. The room was nice and the bed was very comfy.
Renovations throughout the ground floor but room very good other than peeling paint on ceiling of bathroom
The Staff was very kind and accommodating. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Love getting an omelette made for breakfast. They were renovating the Lounge while we were there so we are anxious to return to see the end product. There was a rude woman using her handicapped son to manipulate the staff and Steven should be applauded for handling the situation with a calm and composed demeanor. We were appalled by her behavior.
The front desk staff was courteous and accommodating. The room was spacious and comfortable. We would definitely stay at this property again.
The location was centrally located and the staff were AMAZING. Everyone was very helpful, friendly and inviting. I would have prefered to know that the lobby and entrance were under construction. It was quite a mess when I arrived and quite loud, however the noise level in the room was very low considering the activity that was taking place in the lobby. The room was very comfortable and accomidating. Highly recommended.
Hotel room was clean, comfortable. Stay was courteous. Could have been some kind of compensation for all the construction.
The customer service was very good, however the business center lacked updated equipment and the printer was black and white only.
We were aware that construction in the lobby and lounge area was taking place after reading some recent reviews on line. The only issue we had was the inconvenience of the detour to get from parking lot to our room. we had to go in one set of elevators and then walk a ways to the main tower elevators to get to our floor. I realize this was because of the remodel of the entry from the parking lot (P1) to the lobby elevators. We were not aware of this part of the remodel. All in all we have stayed at this hotel enough to know the construction was the reason for the inconveniences. We will stay here again judging from past experiences.
Great spot, good location, good value for amount spent on visit. Came here for business.
