Our first room had a loud a/c that would've kept us up so they w ere quick to respond and give us another room. Bed was comfy. Hotel was quiet. Breakfast buffet was yummy.
Good local services in an older city experiencing a renew of the 21st century.
So it's past 11 PM and I've had a really long day, but I can't get to sleep because the room next to me is blaring their TV. I've knocked multiple times and nobody is answering. I called the front desk and they sent someone else up to knock on their door without any solution so I'm being given the option to move rooms or just wait until they can find the occupants to turn the TV off. At this point, I've told them I'm willing to check out of the hotel. I'm very unhappy especially as I've used this hotel multiple times for business.
We've stayed at numerous hotels and many have modern updates. The service will definitely set them apart. Who would have known that some of the most professional and accommodating service would come from a Holiday Inn? This is typically a more cost conscious choice so the expectations are a little lower. The suite we had was large, very clean but it was the staff experience and how well we were treated that made the difference. Lovely decor and lobby as well!
Enjoyed it. The hotel was clean and the staff is friendly.
Perfectly nice looking hotel but the staff didn't comprehend the idea of a "quiet room". First sent me to the wrong and distant elevator bank - not appreciated after flying 17 hours from Sydeney. Then gave me a room above the massive car wash operation next door, then changed me to a room directly on the major, 6 lane, Colorado Blvd. Finally after lousy sleep, they gave me a quiet room at the back of the hotel -plus a mountain view. Also, the walls are thin so I heard both the TV and later the love making from next door. Be warned. Also other comparable hotels in the area include breakfast in their rates. This hotel does not so it isn't as good value.
great staff. clean a ball team took up most of the property but kids were well behaved
First visit to Denver. Enjoyed the hotel comfort, staff and location.
Very poor management at this location, are group had many problems through are 8 day stay at this location. and still two weeks later and many phone calls and reports filed still haven't heard a reply from the manger. terrible location for a motel to host a bunch of softball players.
Cherry Creek may not be your primary destination in Denver, but this hotel is worth a little extra driving for a super comfortable stay. Great facilities and an excellent staff will make it a wonderful stay for you.
In for a quick college visit at DU. Great location and very comfortable room for a couple of busy days.
This reservation was made at employee rate for one night. Employee called before guests were to check-in to verify that everything was in order for the reservation. No problems were indicated with this call. Guests were refused check-in until employee called hotel. Hotel staff was very rude to guests at check-in and to employee on the phone threatening to cancel reservation. Guests should never be treated in this manner no matter what the problem is.
Great Stay, close to Downtown and convention center for Comic-Con, also close to Cherry Creek Shopping Center. Easy access to I-25 for traveling to the Springs.
This is a good hotel if you have a car and are touringand arriving from the airport.however it is not in the town centre which may be a problem for you. However we used the Lite Train service and this made it easy to have a day in Denver. So basically this Hotel used by us for3ights and was fine. Ideally situated for onward travel. Hotel staff very welcoming and friendly. Good service given by Front Desk. Comfortable room and breakfast ok as well.
Staff is poorly trained. Rooms are small. Security is not the not very good. Parking in the garage is terrible.
We came to Denver for a softball tournament. It was a stay and play meaning we had to stay a this hotel as part of the tournament rules. Location was good as it was close to a lot of restaurants as well as access to the freeways. Staff was friendly and helpful and amenties were good. Breakfast consisted of scrambled eggs with cheese, sausage links, bacon, hash browns, yogurt and fruit. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Internet was good. Stay was enjoyable except for the parking. Parking was horrible. There were two underground parking garages and one uncovered on the 3rd level. It was nearly impossible to park anything less than a small compact car. The turns to enter and exit were 90* turns and people had to back up a few times trying to pull in. The walls and corners were hammered and chunks of brick were missing from all the vehicles hitting them. I have never seen such a small garage.
The first 2 days we were there only one elevator was working the room had a bad odor which was not fixed nor were we offered another room rooms were not cleaned well and the overall service was just poor.
Underground parking is only for very small cars, if you have a large vehicle or truck you need to park in employee parking lot or roof parking lot. No microwave in room, laundry room has 2 leaking washers
CleAning staff were very very nice. Just wouldn't go back because of the parking
Broken elevators, impossible parking arrangements, Luke warm air conditioning, and unauthorized extra charges per day. Don't do it.
One of the two elevators was not working for the entire course of our visit. With 9 floors and a full hotel, this made for some very long waits.
Very nice rooms, easy parking. Nice beds, linens, towels. One elevator did not work the whole time I was there and that was inconvenient. There were no snack vending machines and the clock in my room did not work. Overall, it was a good experience and I would stay here again.
The location of the hotel was perfect for a vacation to the Black Hills and Badlands. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Complementary breakfast was very generous with a large array of items - eggs, breakfast meat, cereals, fruit, juices, coffee, pastries.
Everything was great, the food, the area, the staff. The patio area was so beautiful
Wish people would park wihin the lines -especially the big vehicles. Would not have paid so much (expensive weekend) except I had no choice. There for death and funeral.
This was convenient to our destination reason for visiting Denver.
Hotel was nice. The staff was helpful and friendly.
The best thing is that i was never bothered and unless I needed something they left me alone which is what I like I love to have peace and quiet
I like the convenience of this hotel to Denver University and to downtown. The rooms were very nice and clean and the bed was comfortable
I have stayed there prior for medical reasons at National Jewish Health for severe asthma. This trip was again for medical reasons and the entire stay met my expectations and needs.
Had to request toothpaste three separate times. A/C did not work to full capacity.
As a Spire Elite customer I have stayed at many of the group hotels in a number of countries. It was a great mistake to have chosen Denver-Cherry Creek. This is the worst of the group hotels I have ever had the misfortune to stay at. I have never written a negative review on any IHG Hotel. I feel it is more than warranted on this occasion. The staff at this hotel are not interested at all when problems are reported. We stayed two nights here and did not receive any housekeeping service at all during our stay despite bringing it to the attention of the front desk and housekeeping directly. The restaurant and bar service really was abysmal. Not the fault of the bar staff; the bar and restaurant were dreadfully understaffed for the demand. There was obviously a coach party and you did not have enough staff present to meet this demand. Which I might add you would have known about in advance. There was one barman who also had the responsibility of taking food orders and serving meals for the high tables and stools as well as serving drinks for the whole bar and restaurant. Equally there was only one waitress for the rest of the tables. Not sufficient by any means. Therefore service was extremely slow and when the food did come I'm afraid it lacked flavour and was just not worth the wait. I remain extremely disappointed especially as you had such a negative overall effect on my first ever visit to Denver.
Enjoyed our stay at Cherry Creek Holiday Inn. We were there for my nephew's wedding. Only about 15 minute drive to Cheesman Park.
The keys made me feel more comfortable with the security. The outside area was nice. The pool seemed inviting. The food was delicious.
Liked the view from our room and the shuttle worked out to get to and from wedding. Bed very comfortable
This hotel is very accomadating and the staff is super nice. THey solve all problems quickly and easily.
My review for the Denver cherry creek inn was 4/5 stars.I hadno problem with my room keys which happens offen . the bed was comfortable and the room was clean which is always a plus. the only thing I can complain about is the breakfast wasn't free which im use to staying at the holiday Inn express.
nearby location around my visiting spot in denver, CO
This was a very welcome stay in a great location in Cherry Creek. The parking garage was free and felt very secure. The restaurants in the hotel were great along with fast and friendly room service!
Bed was good. Noisy in hall or next room one time. Had trouble controlling room temp. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Was very easy to make my reservation on IHG app
My friend and I received two free breakfast cooupons during our 3-day stay. As we had to get up early basically everyday to attend conference, being able to enjoy a warm and delicious breakfast was a huge plus. Our room was quiet, clean, and spacious. Service was good. Location was great. Overall, I would give an A to Holiday Inn Denver Cheery Creek. Way to go and look foward to coming back again.
I chose this hotel as it was close to a business meeting downtown. The business center is horrible here. I needed to print a document and never was able to. It took at least 5 minutes for the computer in the business center to connect to the internet. Not used to this kind of archaic business center.
This is ridiculous. All this info can come from my questionnaire comments. The bed was fine, the room layout was great, the coffee maker didn't work, problems with fan in bathroom and bathtub.
For some reason, it was really difficult to get toilet paper in the room but they were overeager to bring unrequested towels. Carpets were worn in some places in room and hallways. But beds were sot and the fridge worked. Request a room away from the elevators if you value quiet.
I stayed at the Holiday Inn over Memorial Day weekend. Front desk staff did not know location of local grocery store. The room is basically well-appointed, but I had difficulty getting anything other than scalding hot water from the sink faucet, the bathroom needed re-caulking, and the bath tub drain was clogged. Sound-proofing was inadequate to muffle the yelling and other noise coming from the family next door to my room. The hotel cleaning staff was working hard and doing excellent work, but was clearly overwhelmed.
No response from Mr. Kennedy (mgr) regarding our issues.
The front desk staff were extremely promo and professional!
I had a great experience here. The staff were all happy and helpful. My room was great. I would heartily recommend this Holiday Inn!
The Denver-Cherry Creek property was very easy to find, easy to park our own car - Easy to move around in the property - Clean
I feel like my family wasnt treated friendly at the hotel. Simple regest couldnt be handle due to lack of customer service. However it was a front desk girl that was the only polite front desk clerk.
