We stayed at the hotel for 9 nights. The room was comfortable, and hotel was clean. The restaurant has good food from the menu. The buffet food was good too, but it never varied. It was the same breakfast items for 9 days. The location was very convenient and there was underground parking. Would recommend.
Our baseball team stayed here for a tournament. The staff was very acommodating; they even served breakfast an hour early because they knew we had to play at 8am! The hotel is very clean and updated, might be the nicest Holiday Inn I've ever stayed at.
Nice place to stay. Very quite and clean. The food was good and the staff was very nice.
I stayed in the hotel for 3 nights. My stay here was excellent. All the employees I encountered were incredibly friendly. The rooms were modern and clean. It's also in a great location. I would definitely stay here again.
The hotel was very nice, free parking is a plus. While the hotel isn't as close to downtown or the interstate as I would have liked, it's still a great location and convenient to get anywhere- as long as you have a car. They let us check in early which I appreciated and the rooms and common areas were very clean.
Good location and very comfortable rooms. The staff was friendly and accommodating.
Stayed here while my home's roof was getting repaired. Comfy beds and pillows. Convenient location and walking distance to restaurants and bars. It was a lovely "staycation." Definitely caters to the business traveler as well.
TV remote had no batteries when I checked in. Couldn't call the front desk because the phone didn't work. Bad start that didn't get much better. Spent several days without hot water, also a night without A/C in middle of summer. Gym constantly out of water, pool area has glass roof in middle of summer still had heaters on and was more like a sauna than an enjoyable pool. On a positive note the staff was all very friendly.
I needed to stay in Denver for a week to be close to my Mom while she was in the hospital. The hotel accommodated me for the majority of the time I needed to be there. Will be back.
When sleeping is the primary reason to stay in a hotel, one would think that the staff would take a complaint about a smoke issue more seriously. The entire experience with this hotel was below the quality I have come to expect from Holiday Inn. At one point, I even had to call and request wash cloths and each day they cleaned they would leave fewer and fewer bathroom towels and wash cloths until they didn't even leave any at all. I expect better!
Poor location, difficult to get in AND OUT, ELEVATORS SLOW MOTION
hotel is well located but parking is hard to access below ground and above. poor clearances.
I really would not stay at this location even though we will be going back to the medical facility. We really did not get good sleep with the noise the air conditioner made going on all night. The staff was friendly at the front desk and the cleaning people were friendly but just seemed like a hotel that was old in the mechanics. Pool area was very nice and the area for relaxing seemed nice.
Returning from a wedding late Saturday evening, the parking situation was in chaos. The lot in front of the lobby was packed with cars at a standstill, then once we were able to get to the underground parking lot, it was full. After waiting several minutes for the cars in front of us to clear out, we made it to the ramp on the other side of the hotel, and found it full. Then I had to get out of my car to tell the drivers trying to come up the ramp that it was full and they needed to back down so we could get out. I found out there was another lot behind the hotel after I parked in front and went in to the front desk. After we got parked and entered the hotel from the rear, the hallways to the lobby were packed with people and screaming, out of control, children. There was a party going on, hence the increase in traffic. Once we got to our room and got to bed, we were awakened by some loud guests in the hallway around 3:30 in the morning. I know nothing can be done about the thoughtless guests in the hallway, but the next time you have an event, you should get more people involved to direct traffic and make parking for guests a priority.
Parking issues during wedding. Hotel guests had to park across very busy street. Had handicap room - bathroom did not drain properly causing excessive amounts of standing water in bathroom and room.
We were not happy with our room. Corner room with weird bathroom/vanity config. and queen bed. Noisy with carwash next door. As a Platinum member I was expecting a room with a king bed, as in my profile. There was no water in the bathroom (boiler under repair I assume)until very late in the day. After a long day of driving into Denver it was a big disappointment not being able to shower. The hotel did not charge us for this first day, which was appreciated.
Superb staff, excellent breakfast buffet. Outstanding pool area and reading areas.
Water pressure in bathroom was poor and water was barely hot. But the most pathetic thing was the cleanliness. My room even after being serviced still had clearly visible hair in the bathroom shower and bathroom floor... This was the case the two notes I was there... disappointed. I have mixed reviews about the staff..while the check in staff were warm, friendly, helpful and courteous, one of the dining staff was so cold, unfriendly sand brusque that it just left a bad taste in the stay..almost like it was too much trouble to take one's order...
The room was comfortable and there are many convenient amenities. I could hear a tiny bit of street noise from my second floor room, but it was quiet for the most part. The only possible issue is the location. The hotel is across the street from a strip club, and I couldn't find many restaurants or other things to do within walking distance. However, the parking is free, so it was convenient enough to drive.
Other that the confusion with the wrong credit card being used, our stay was very pleasant. Felt the hotel was slightly overpriced without the breakfast. We had travelled around Colorado (inc a 3 night stay elsewhere in Denver) and this was the most expensive hotel
Hotel is beautiful, staff is pleasant, and rooms are very clean and comfortable. (great pillows) I will say you need a map to find your way around this hotel. Very limited parking at ground level but they have an upper and lower deck for parking. Just make sure you pick the right deck based on your room because you can't get from the east wing to the west wing and your key card will not work in all elevators if access is not permitted. Did I mention this hotel is very secure. Elevators work off key cards only. Very nice feature for security purposes. I will definitely stay at this hotel when I return to the area next year. I do not recommend the Starbucks in the lobby though. They need to send the barista back to Starbucks for additional training.
I would stay again..front desk was awesome love the comfortable beds
We very much enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn-Cherry Creek. Our room was comfortable and pleasant. The bed was very comfortable and we slept great. The staff was very friendly and courteous and went out of their way to be helpful.
This location for me was the best. I come from a small town and having a stop light to the left made it so easy for me to get back and forth from the VA hospital. The entire staff was friendly at all times. And very helpful. We will be back, but it will be for fun!
algo que no se tiene que hacer es vender mas habitaciones de las que tiene el hotel . eso me paso a mi y fue una amarga experiencia
Overall good experience. Hotel rooms are smaller than the typical hotel room with limited drawer space for cloths but enough room for a short stay.
Great location for visiting Cherry Creek area. Great staff this was my second stay. Underground parking is included and a plus during winter months.
Good place to stay.Rooms are clean Internet a re a little slow.TV get disconnected all the time.
Bar/lounge was nice and had a nice adjoining patio with a firepit and view of the pool. Hotel was centrally located.
This hotel is a great place to stay in the heart of Denver. It is close to a lot of great attractions, the zoo, the botanic gardens, the Molly Brown house, the museum of natural science and history and more restaurants than I can name. The staff is friendly and courteous and can answer almost any question. The beds are divine and the pillows to die for. The bartender, Robert was most helpful in suggesting dining locations and made the best dirty martinis I've had in years. I love that the bath amenities are from Bath and Body Works but I must say, not everyone likes coconut scented stuff. Other than that (and breakfast) everything was great. Just go down the street to IHOP for breakfast
Good location. Great staff. Clean and quiet. Recommended
I usually stay in Holiday Inn Express and still prefer them over most Holiday Inns. In the past years Holiday Inns have become run down and poorly managed. NOT TRUE with THIS Holiday Inn. Recent updates to guest rooms have made it worth your stay at this particular locations. The hotel is comfortable and clean. I stayed here due to a University of Denver event and it is within a reasonable 10 minute drive. It is also within 3 minutes to the Cherry Creek Mall, which is quite lovely!
The hotel has a great staff. The rooms are updated in some ways, but the bathrooms are a bit dated. There is no fresh air access in the rooms, though. The bar is inviting. Robert is a very nice bartender. The pool is clean and big. The Cherry Creek trail is just across the street. Just be careful not to be run over by the bicyclists; they are in a hurry.
Great hotel, with everything on premises. Would recommend for a romantic getaway or for family. The pool was amazing for our children and we could relax poolside.
great overnight stay before a marathon. check in was quick and easy. I was upgraded to a suite and given late check out.
I enjoyed my stay- everyone was very friendly and helpful , room was very clean and beds were comfortable- would definitely recommend this hotel. Price was a bit high for me.
5 Stars all the way!!! The accommodations are great, and the staff went above and beyond my expectations. Thank you!
Overall a great place to stay with friendly staff and clean rooms. The only downside is the underground garage is a bit tight getting into with larger vehicles. On the other hand there were always plenty of available parking spaces.
Overall wonderful stay and location, location, location.
I booked this hotel because I could use points I had and then switch to paying with credit card for final nights, and also because of its convenience to downtown Denver - just a 15 minute drive with rush hour traffic! Not bad at all. Room was comfortable and fit my needs. Was disappointed that the hotel had no hot tub, though they do have a pool and fitness center. Will stay there again if using points, as I have the points; otherwise, I may hotel hop. I did have a couple of issues arise during my stay, nothing major, just inconvenient. But the hotel staff handled it well and was able to correct each problem.
I took my son to visit Denver University and stayed at the HI Denver-Cherry Creek. The staff were very friendly and polite, the room was clean and had a great view of the mountains (a request which was accommodated) the breakfast was very nice. The shuttle service was also a great plus and very responsive. As a smoker I particularly appreciated the smoking area, which was a whole patio, with a open pit fire in the middle. It was really pleasant and a welcome change from the smelly space usual afford to us. I would definitely stay in this hotel again.
Room was nice and comfortable. Located next to many restaurants within walking distance.
The room had a very comfortable bed and unlike other hotels I have stayed in, it was a super quiet room.
Excellent facility for business travel. I've been staying at this hotel periodically since 2009 and recommend it highly to anyone traveling in the Denver Cherry Creek area.
Staff was very responsive to my questions and requests. The room was comfortable, well lit and furnished. Overall one of the best stays I have had in the past year!
The hotel staff was extremely friendly, responsive and welcoming. The room was clean, quite and provided all the necessities.
The location is why I chose the hotel and it didn't disappoint. The staff was nice and friendly.
Comfortable beds, clean, quiet rooms, great breakfast
Did a quick weekend trip for my girlfriends birthday, Service was amazing, close to many tourist spots w/in 30-45 mins to the mountains. Across the street from an Applebees for late eats.
The staff at this Holiday Inn absolutely did everything they could to make our short stay exceptional. I would definitely choose a Holiday Inn on our next out of town visit.
