the room was recently redecorated and was very comfortable. Bath and room were well cleaned and lit. The location is very good, close to Cherry Creek, just a quick trip downtown and near some beautiful residential areas. The lobby, elevators and restaurants have not yet been upgraded but the rooms are lovely.
This was a great place to stay. We only stayed the one night, but it was soooo comfortable!
We loved everything about our stay except for the fact that we needed accommodations for both Thursday and Friday night. I think it's very tacky and inconsiderate to charge more for the second night. I wish we had checked out and found another place to stay for our second night.
Great location, had a great stay in Denver.I will be back in the future. keep up the good hospitality.
I stayed here for a college reunion and a wedding. I don't have any complaints! It was a good experience.
not so good did not like the key cards for the eve
I stayed at this hotel while in Denver for to attend 2 days of business meetings and was very pleasantly surprised at how well appointed it was. The company that I visited was truly up the block which made commuting for the meetings very convenient. The room was very nice and I was impressed with the sitting area. I did have a small snafu upon arrival at the airport - the information that I'd been given about getting a shuttle was incomplete. The lady that I spoke to when I called the Holiday Inn did give me the name of the shuttle company, but failed to tell me that I had to call or go online to make a reservation for the shuttle prior to my arrival. I ended up paying a ridiculous amount for a cab from the airport to the hotel. When I explained my frustrations to the gentleman at the front desk upon check-in, I was provided with complimentary meal and bar coupons. That definitely smoothed things over a great deal. I would most definitely stay here again and recommend it to all of my peers.
Everything met my expectations and was very pleasant.
Easy to be there, great staff, great room, good value. We will stay there again.
From broken elevators that several guests including ourselves needing to take 9 flights of stairs; to dirty dishes left right outside our door by previous guests, still there when we checked in...still there next morning as well, this was by far our worst hotel experience ever. Very loud guests partying in halls till well after 3:00 am. We called front desk who did absolutely nothing. Bed was hard and uncomfortable. Our Holiday Inn days are done. We will not pay so much for such a place again. And no continental breakfast to boot!
I stayed at your hotel recently with my wife and 2 children. The staff was very friendly and helpful we could not have been more pleased with our stay. Our kids loved the pool, we also really enjoyed breakfast.
worst experience in a very long time. will not use this hotel in the future
The hotel met all of my expectations, and I plan to stay there in the near future. I do not think you can find a better value for the money.
The front desk staff was exceptional. The room was comfortable and convenient for my trip.
The hotel was very clean an modern. Staff is friendly and helpful
Clean your clogged shower drains, it is disgusting standing in water as it accumulates.
I need to mention DJ, Mr. Van Troi and Dennis for their superb and excellent service. However the night staff didn't seem to care that my dad needed sleep because he is going through sickness and we couldn't get no sleep. We were put in a room next to a wedding party and the party was NOISEY when called attention to the front desk at night, nothing was done and nothing was made to my satisfaction. The hotel tho overall was great, the shuttle driver knew who I was and greeted me by my last name and to me that shows excellent hospitality. I WILL be staying at this property again! Thanks
My A/C was not working. I notified front desk. Nothing was done. I ended up checking out at 3:30 a.m due to not being able to sleep in 75 degree room. It was 60 degrees outside. A/C was blowing warm air. I never was offered compensation for this.
Great location. Nice property. Free parking. Close to most amenities. Would recommend for sure.
We stay at this hotel when we are in town for doctor appointments. It is close to RMHC and they always have clean rooms and friendly service. The kids enjoy the pool and we enjoy the lounge being close to the pool. Easy in and easy out makes it more enjoyable when traveling with the kids.
A great place to stay in Denver that is convenient to many places you want to go to.
LOCATED IN A BUSY AREA BUT EASY TO GET AROUND. THE STAFF WAS HELPFUL WHEN ASKED FOR SOMETHING
Room very comfortable and clean. Bathroon clean, enjoyed shower very easy to control temp level
Holiday Inn is one of few hotel chains where just having the name Holiday Inn assures me that it won't be disgusting. In fact, it's always clean and comfortable. I suppose that's why it's typically a little pricier than some of the other chains... but sometimes, when you need a good sleep, it's worth the extra cost.
First I tried to book this online and every time I would book it, it went up $20.00 so I called the hotel. I was told there was a shuttle to the Rockies game and a free breakfast. The shuttle took us 3 1/2 miles from the game and the hotel was 4 miles from the game. NOT HAPPY. The free breakfast was $10.00. The people at the desk were not the most friendly people.
I received a high value stay at the Holiday Inn during my week there. Hotel, accommodations, staff, food and beverage all excellent. If I had one complaint it would be the air-conditioner and the noise it made, but then I am a light sleeper :-).
Special Thanks to Skye and Dennis (?). Hotel was very busy, rooms not ready and they made the wait pleasurable. Thanks you guys!!!
We stayed at the hotel for 9 nights. The room was comfortable, and hotel was clean. The restaurant has good food from the menu. The buffet food was good too, but it never varied. It was the same breakfast items for 9 days. The location was very convenient and there was underground parking. Would recommend.
Our baseball team stayed here for a tournament. The staff was very acommodating; they even served breakfast an hour early because they knew we had to play at 8am! The hotel is very clean and updated, might be the nicest Holiday Inn I've ever stayed at.
Nice place to stay. Very quite and clean. The food was good and the staff was very nice.
I stayed in the hotel for 3 nights. My stay here was excellent. All the employees I encountered were incredibly friendly. The rooms were modern and clean. It's also in a great location. I would definitely stay here again.
The hotel was very nice, free parking is a plus. While the hotel isn't as close to downtown or the interstate as I would have liked, it's still a great location and convenient to get anywhere- as long as you have a car. They let us check in early which I appreciated and the rooms and common areas were very clean.
Good location and very comfortable rooms. The staff was friendly and accommodating.
Stayed here while my home's roof was getting repaired. Comfy beds and pillows. Convenient location and walking distance to restaurants and bars. It was a lovely "staycation." Definitely caters to the business traveler as well.
TV remote had no batteries when I checked in. Couldn't call the front desk because the phone didn't work. Bad start that didn't get much better. Spent several days without hot water, also a night without A/C in middle of summer. Gym constantly out of water, pool area has glass roof in middle of summer still had heaters on and was more like a sauna than an enjoyable pool. On a positive note the staff was all very friendly.
I needed to stay in Denver for a week to be close to my Mom while she was in the hospital. The hotel accommodated me for the majority of the time I needed to be there. Will be back.
When sleeping is the primary reason to stay in a hotel, one would think that the staff would take a complaint about a smoke issue more seriously. The entire experience with this hotel was below the quality I have come to expect from Holiday Inn. At one point, I even had to call and request wash cloths and each day they cleaned they would leave fewer and fewer bathroom towels and wash cloths until they didn't even leave any at all. I expect better!
Poor location, difficult to get in AND OUT, ELEVATORS SLOW MOTION
hotel is well located but parking is hard to access below ground and above. poor clearances.
I really would not stay at this location even though we will be going back to the medical facility. We really did not get good sleep with the noise the air conditioner made going on all night. The staff was friendly at the front desk and the cleaning people were friendly but just seemed like a hotel that was old in the mechanics. Pool area was very nice and the area for relaxing seemed nice.
Returning from a wedding late Saturday evening, the parking situation was in chaos. The lot in front of the lobby was packed with cars at a standstill, then once we were able to get to the underground parking lot, it was full. After waiting several minutes for the cars in front of us to clear out, we made it to the ramp on the other side of the hotel, and found it full. Then I had to get out of my car to tell the drivers trying to come up the ramp that it was full and they needed to back down so we could get out. I found out there was another lot behind the hotel after I parked in front and went in to the front desk. After we got parked and entered the hotel from the rear, the hallways to the lobby were packed with people and screaming, out of control, children. There was a party going on, hence the increase in traffic. Once we got to our room and got to bed, we were awakened by some loud guests in the hallway around 3:30 in the morning. I know nothing can be done about the thoughtless guests in the hallway, but the next time you have an event, you should get more people involved to direct traffic and make parking for guests a priority.
Parking issues during wedding. Hotel guests had to park across very busy street. Had handicap room - bathroom did not drain properly causing excessive amounts of standing water in bathroom and room.
We were not happy with our room. Corner room with weird bathroom/vanity config. and queen bed. Noisy with carwash next door. As a Platinum member I was expecting a room with a king bed, as in my profile. There was no water in the bathroom (boiler under repair I assume)until very late in the day. After a long day of driving into Denver it was a big disappointment not being able to shower. The hotel did not charge us for this first day, which was appreciated.
Superb staff, excellent breakfast buffet. Outstanding pool area and reading areas.
Water pressure in bathroom was poor and water was barely hot. But the most pathetic thing was the cleanliness. My room even after being serviced still had clearly visible hair in the bathroom shower and bathroom floor... This was the case the two notes I was there... disappointed. I have mixed reviews about the staff..while the check in staff were warm, friendly, helpful and courteous, one of the dining staff was so cold, unfriendly sand brusque that it just left a bad taste in the stay..almost like it was too much trouble to take one's order...
The room was comfortable and there are many convenient amenities. I could hear a tiny bit of street noise from my second floor room, but it was quiet for the most part. The only possible issue is the location. The hotel is across the street from a strip club, and I couldn't find many restaurants or other things to do within walking distance. However, the parking is free, so it was convenient enough to drive.
Other that the confusion with the wrong credit card being used, our stay was very pleasant. Felt the hotel was slightly overpriced without the breakfast. We had travelled around Colorado (inc a 3 night stay elsewhere in Denver) and this was the most expensive hotel
Hotel is beautiful, staff is pleasant, and rooms are very clean and comfortable. (great pillows) I will say you need a map to find your way around this hotel. Very limited parking at ground level but they have an upper and lower deck for parking. Just make sure you pick the right deck based on your room because you can't get from the east wing to the west wing and your key card will not work in all elevators if access is not permitted. Did I mention this hotel is very secure. Elevators work off key cards only. Very nice feature for security purposes. I will definitely stay at this hotel when I return to the area next year. I do not recommend the Starbucks in the lobby though. They need to send the barista back to Starbucks for additional training.
I would stay again..front desk was awesome love the comfortable beds
We very much enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn-Cherry Creek. Our room was comfortable and pleasant. The bed was very comfortable and we slept great. The staff was very friendly and courteous and went out of their way to be helpful.
